Our Story
The Wellness Pizza is a visual and tactile framework for exploring personal wellbeing.
Created by child psychiatrist, Dr. Ayotunde Ayobello, the Wellness Pizza began with a simple yet powerful realization: conversations about wellbeing are most meaningful when they feel safe, approachable, and self-directed.

The Philosophy
Rather than asking people to describe how they are doing in words alone, the Wellness Pizza invites them to build it. By selecting the slices that feel most relevant to their lives, individuals create a visual snapshot of what feels strong, what feels neglected, and what may need attention.
How It Began
Crafted through collaboration with educators, clinicians and artists, the Wellness Pizza officially launched in 2023 in New Haven, Connecticut; fittingly, the Pizza Capital of the United States!
What began as a hand-drawn prototype has since evolved into a thoughtful system now present in clinical practices, schools, homes, and community spaces.
Where It's Going
Today, the Wellness Pizza continues to evolve as both a therapeutic framework and a visual language for wellbeing. We invite you to be part of this shift, integrating emotional awareness into everyday life, one slice at a time.
